The name Rabid can mean different things to different people. Psycho surfing, frothing, drooling, in a total state of ecstacy, zoned out in nirvana land, or just the feeling that only a surfer knows. Of course the mode of Transit being waves. Our goal is to help you take your surfing to the next level, or just have more fun! It all starts with your equipment.

Whether you have a modern aggressive surfing style, you like skating down the line on a fish, or find your nirvana doing a soul arch on the nose of a longboard; we can make a stick for you.

The shaper has 20+ years experience as an industry professional and a background in engineering design. We make everything from high performance short-boards and long-boards to old school fish and long-board nose-riders and fun-boards. We give discounts to returning customers too!

No shaping machines or CNC cookie cutters here, all of our boards are hand shaped and custom built. There is something magical about feeling the blank come to life under the planer, then seeing someone take a new board out for a surf and going rabid!

Some of these boards will need to be kept in a cage and fed raw meat!
